This policy explains which personal data is processed when you play Getaway Raccoon (the "Game") or visit this website, why, and how to exercise your rights. You can play without creating an account, and the Game never asks for your name, email address or phone number.

2. Data we process

- Game progress: completed levels, coins, cars, upgrades, power-ups, settings, achievements and scores.
- In-app purchases: product purchased, date and transaction receipt provided by Apple or Google. We never receive your payment details.
- Advertising: device advertising ID (IDFA on iOS, Google Advertising ID on Android), IP address, device model, OS, language, approximate country, ad interactions.

3. Purposes and legal bases
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Running the Game, saving and syncing your progress, achievements and leaderboards | Performance of a contract (the Terms of Use) |
| Processing and restoring your in-app purchases, including ad removal | Performance of a contract; legal accounting obligations |
| Showing non-personalised (contextual) ads, preventing ad fraud | Legitimate interest (funding a free game) |
| Showing personalised ads | Your consent |
| Measuring how the Game is used to improve it (statistics) | Your consent |
| Answering support requests | Legitimate interest |
4. Your consent
On first launch, the Game asks separately for your consent to personalised advertising and to gameplay statistics. Declining doesn't stop you from playing: you'll see non-personalised ads and no statistics will be sent. On iOS, Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt is also shown; without your permission, the IDFA is not shared.
You can change your choices at any time in the Game's Settings. You can also reset or limit your advertising ID in your device settings.
5. Recipients and providers
Your data is never sold. It is only shared with the providers the Game needs, acting as processors or, for personalised ads, as independent controllers:
| Provider | Purpose | Policy |
|---|---|---|
| Unity Technologies (Unity Gaming Services) | Player sign-in (Authentication), online save (Cloud Save), remote configuration (Remote Config), in-app purchases (IAP) | Read |
| Unity LevelPlay (ironSource) and partner ad networks | Ad mediation and ad delivery; personalised ads only with your consent | Read |
| GameAnalytics ApS | Gameplay statistics (progress, purchases, ads viewed), only with your consent | Read |
| Apple (Game Center, App Store) | Player ID, achievements and leaderboards, payment of purchases on iOS | Read |
| Google (Google Play Jeux, Google Play) | Player ID, achievements and leaderboards, payment of purchases on Android | Read |
6. Transfers outside the European Union
Some providers (including Unity, Apple, Google and ad networks) may process data in the United States or other countries. These transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, or on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. Retention
- Progress and online save: for as long as you play, then deleted after 2 years of inactivity or on request.
- Gameplay statistics: up to 2 years, in pseudonymised form.
- Purchase records: as required by accounting law (10 years).
- Support messages: 3 years after the last message.
- Advertising providers apply their own retention periods, described in their policies.
8. Deleting your data
To delete your progress and the data linked to your player ID, email getawayraccoon@mirgas.fr with the subject "Data deletion" and include your player ID (shown in the Game's Settings). We delete the data within 30 days and confirm it to you. Uninstalling the Game removes data stored on the device, but not the online save.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, to object to processing, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise these rights: getawayraccoon@mirgas.fr. You can also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL) or the authority of your country of residence.
10. Children
The Game is intended for a general audience and is not designed specifically for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children beyond what is necessary to run the Game. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. This website
This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no advertising trackers. Messages sent through the contact form are forwarded to us by email and are not stored on the website's server. Only technical logs (IP address, requested page) may be kept for a few days by the host for security purposes. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.
12. Security
Communications between the Game and our providers are encrypted (HTTPS). Access to data is limited to what is needed to run and support the Game.
13. Changes
This policy may change, for example when a feature is added. The last-updated date is shown at the top of this page; you will be notified in the Game of any significant change.
